Beginning Watercolor 2 Class: From Technique to Expression

You’ve mastered the techniques; now it’s time to paint with purpose. Beginning Watercolor 2 moves beyond basic exercises into expressive, cohesive storytelling.

Designed for those who have completed the foundations, this series shifts the focus from "how" to "why." You’ll stop simply copying references and start developing your own creative voice through intentional choices in composition, light, and mood.

In 8 2-hour modules, you will learn to:

• Design stronger compositions and simplify complex scenes.
• Use color and edges to control mood and focus.
• Build atmospheric depth while reinforcing core skills like water control and glazing.

Materials are not included in this course.

Classes are held at the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild Art Gallery located at 5420 E Broadway Blvd Suite #240 located in the Williams Centre shops.
