Artist Statement: Autumn Rain - Autumn
Falling leaves signal the beginning of a tree’s dormancy, a period of rest and healing with a promise of life in the spring. We all need to rest and recuperate from the stress and trials of our daily lives. But to accomplish that, we must give ourselves permission to rest. Trees are patient in this regard. They rest and wait. If we are willing to notice, humans can learn patience from trees.
